TRUST

TRUST
Trust, it's been on my mind for the day in relation to my previous blog entry. I just don't get how these two people around my age, mid twenties can build a life and share a home during their 4 year relationship. Only for one half of pairing to abuse and ruin that Trust. One of those things to me is almost dreamlike and tomorrow "I'll be thinking to myself did that really happen?"
Yes, It did. Shocked. But when these bad things happen all anyone can do is learn from it and therefore I felt that I should share it.

If you have someone special who you love and loves you, never ever do anything to break their Trust. Actions speaks louder than words and it's illustrated what action that poor girl had taken when her love and Trust was broken.

Just shortly after I learned this I sat down to read a book. All Star Batman & Robin The Boy Wonder. The book began with what I felt was an Introduction by the Editor at the time and the quote will possibly appear later as I get further into the book. The editor had spoke of Trust and how it was related to him, his career and the trust of others to get this very special book made. I will end this post now with how that Introduction began

Trust
It's all about Trust isn't it?
It's at the core of every relationship.Without it, there can be no relationship worth having.

Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned

So all in all quiet Sunday, had to re install iTunes after some problem with their latest update.

My lovely Girlfriend had text me a while ago saying "Go quick and look at (girls name) put up on Facebook :o " I'm not sure what I was expecting. The first thing I saw was (girls name) had changed her profile picture. I thought she was meaning the dress she was wearing, my girl loves fashion, but not what she meant and as I scrolled further down...........

Oh My God

She even tagged her cheating ex in it

PLAYSTATION 3 IN THE SINK

The poor girl had discovered that her Boyfriend of 4 years had been a cheat multiple times.

Really surprised and wouldn't have put him down for that. His selfish actions lost him a girl that is way to good for him. Little did he consider that things will never be the same for her, no just the end of the relationship but the trauma that it may cause her, not being able to trust a guy, a decent guy. Along with her reluctance to start a new relationship as she has now been so well reminded that it can lead to hurt and betrayal of someone so close.

I've been with my girlfriend about the same amount of time and this kinda thing makes your think about if that was you. I quickly reassured her that I would never hurt her like that.

This guy was a dick and  has a lot to answer for. Cheating is just a selfish thing. If things aren't working out for you and your partner, talk to them about whats bothering you and what led them to cheat. It may have been something lacking in their relationship, esteem or just a attraction to someone else. But it's never the right thing to do and you will never realise how deeply you hurt that person along with the amount of grief and trauma. Not all relationships work but don't make it worse and talk to your partner and decide the best step forward where no one gets their heart stamped on in the process.

Take Care,
Bye for now

.......and today I finished the first of four books my lovely girlfriend got me for Christmas

The Greatest JOKER Stories Ever Told

Really enjoyed this book, It is a collection of various comics featuring The Joker published between 1940's - 1980's. I really enjoy these sample of the times stories from various periods with the 80's being my favorite decades as it takes The Joker back to his original murderous intent. The book is a rare time capsule look into how the stories were over the years and the influences that still exist today.

The stories are fun and gripping and contains the well know classic Joker tale "The Laughing Fish". This was such a rare find as it was originally published in 1988.
The Greatest Stories Ever Told is always to great gift as to someone special.

Things I'm looking forward to from now to end of February

Movies.....

Robocop 7th February

Cuban Fury 14th February

The Lego Movie 14th February

Thor: The Dark World on DVD February 24th

Really looking for to getting Thor on DVD. Real big occassion going to see this with my girl. First sequel we ever seen together. And first movie she cried at. Big cry at a certain moment.

TV....

ARROW - Don't watch any TV much but the return of my favorite show and a great action drama series based on the lesser known DC comics vigilante Green Arrow/Oliver Queen.
Returns to SKY1 after a brilliant first half of season 2 and is back on February the 20th after a nine week absence. I've felt bereft.

Others.....

Few special days upcoming between now and then too, Valentines day with my girlfriend and after the 4 year anniversary of when we first met. The start of the month will be my younger brtohers Confirmation, nice family day out

Horror movie date night and the quiet day that follows and DC comics movie news

So, last night me and my girlfriend went out to see DEVIL'S DUE. I had low expectations due to poor reviews but it surpassed my expectations and we both really enjoyed it. The film is presented in a "found footage" style of film making and documents the life of a newly wed couple as they get married, enjoy your honey moon and return home to the joyous news that their expecting and begin to be observed by a Satanic cult during the pregnancy, and husband Zach begins to suspect there's something unnatural about their baby.

The was enjoyable full of suspense and scares and its not as standout as others in the genre.
Next trip to the cinema will be to see ROBOCOP released February 7th.

In unrelated news, patiently waiting on a delivery from the US. I purchased a new collectors action figure. Movie Masters Man of Steel - Superman action figure, so you can expect a review and photos once it arrives

I have a few items listed on eBay to sell in case they are of interest to you.

Some comic book related news,
Gal Gadot aka The new Wonder Woman has revealed that she is signed on for three DC Comics movies as the amazon. This along the rumor that Steve Amell, star of TV's ARROW is reportly in talks to fill the Emerald Archers boots on the big screen in a potential JUSTICE LEAGUE movie. Simply speculation at this point.
ARROW is my favorite TV show. Really looking forward to it's return on Sky1 20th February after a 9 week break.

But until all that you can enjoy is the latest offering from DC animated movies.

Based on the Batman and Son graphic novel by Grant Morrison.

See ya's later.

Welcome to Blog Entry #1

Hello and Welcome to my Blog. This is new for me and it seems to be one of the new in things. My Girlfriend has her own blog and it kind of inspired me to do my own. An outlet for my opinion's, reviews and general sharing of information of my interests :)

Music reviews and sharing of bands/acts I adore and aren't all that mainstream.

I always have been a big movie fan of many different genre's. Over the last 3 years I've really got an bigger interest in Comics and Superheroes, along with other fan-boy related stuff. So you can expect photos to come of my growing graphic novel collection and a few fun collectors action figures too.

And plenty more other random miscellaneous things.

Some to the earliest entries will be of a review of my fantastic new camera and the horror movie me and my girl were terrified by last night. I must also work on the name of my blog and the introductory things.

Hope you enjoy my blog

Bye for now and until I can think up a clever signing off name I will just refer to myself as...
